Individual Therapy

Some of the things people show up to work on include: increasing self-worth and acceptance, depression & anxiety, relationship challenges, anger, fear, uncertainty about the future, finding balance, increasing meaning, managing stress, and feelings of hopelessness. Many people also come to work through trauma they have experienced. Counseling can help you to begin to work through difficult emotions and develop skills to cope with those emotions so you feel better equipped to manage your day to day life and relationships.

Family Therapy

If things have been hard in your family lately and you are looking to improve communication or resolve conflict, family therapy can help. Sometimes the dynamics within families impact every aspect of our lives—school, work, or in other interactions with people. Therapy can help you work through some of these things so your relationships can improve. I also work closely with families experiencing grief or end of life issues and processing all the decisions and emotions that come along with this. This includes people experiencing chronic illness along with their caregivers.
